    Disney Movie Lineup for 2019

I’m super excited for the new lineup of Disney movies coming out this year! After a stellar 2018, especially with Mary Poppins Return (my fav), it seems hard to top, doesn’t it. I can tell you this, my kids are really waiting for two movies in particular and those are The Lion King and Star Wars.  I am looking forward to those too in addition to Alladin, Dumbo, and Frozen 2. But the bottom line is, 2019 has a great lineup of Disney movies and we can’t wait to see them all. First up is the new Captain Marvel movie hitting theaters March 8th, 2019. The story follows Carol Danvers…

    First Disney Cruise + TIPS

This year, my son and I decided to take a 3 night Disney Cruise to the Bahamas. I had never been on one before so I honestly did not know what to expect. Our cruise ship was the Disney Dream and it included 2 stops at Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay (Disney’s private island). Arrival: Once on board the ship, I was amazed not only by how beautiful the ship was but also at the never ending list of things to do. From swimming pools with big screens (showing constant Disney movies), to live shows and fireworks, it’s nonstop entertainment. There’s so much to do that it’s hard to know where to start. For example, there are a variety of pool areas for…

    Mary Poppins Returns- Trailer

“Winds in the east, there’s a mist coming in, like something is brewing, about to begin” ~ Bert (Mary Poppins). I just cannot wait for this movie!  Mary Poppins IS my favorite Disney movie and has been since I  was a child.  The orginal masterpiece, which earned 13 Academy Award nominations, will be hard to top but I’m sure Disney will add their bit of magic to this version and it will sparkle just like the original.  Mary Poppins Returns is set in Depression-era London where a now grown Jane and Michael Banks, along with his three children, have endured a personal loss. The always mysterious, yet charming Mary Poppins returns to help…

    Favorite Disney Restaurants

So I’ll admit, while working for Disney, I got to try many restaurants that I would otherwise not have been able to get a reservation to or be able to afford.   But it goes without saying that Walt Disney dining has something for everyone and it has become quite the culinary destination (Hello Epcot Food and Wine festival) in the past decade. That said, when I went to the parks, I usually had kids in tow so my restaurants of choice were not those on the higher end, but rather those that could keep us all entertained, well fed, and interested in the detail . Keep in mind that there…
